The documentary „Eine ganz normale WG“ shows the life of mentally and physically disabled women, living together in a Berlin community.
It is a collage of six women, which dives into their own personel worlds – a humorous, easy going portrait with ups and and downs. Not an ideal world, but one with emotions, happiness, disagreements and reconciliation.
Three social workers take care of them very gently, but most of the residents manage to live largely on their own.
Filmmaker Georg Schönharting followed them over a period of one year and even gave them cameras to capture their daily life.
